SquawkLogger is the premiere GPS logging application for General Aviation. SquawkLogger is used to gather GPS position data including altitude and save it to log files and generates KML files you can import into Google Earth. This allows a great way to graphically review your mission after your flight. SquawLogger logs your GPS position, speed, course, and altitude every 20 seconds.
These flight logs are divided up into “missions”. From the log files, SquawkLogger generates KML files that can be imported into Google Earth. You can have several missions during the day or log your entire day’s activities into one mission. SquawkLogger keeps all GPS data on your phone or tablet. You do not need internet connectivity or to pay for any subscription service of any sort.
